Global Search Experience Designs for New Transport Website
The Global Search Experience Designs for the new transport website introduce a transformative approach to user interaction. Focused on enhancing accessibility and efficiency, these designs reimagine the search experience by providing users with a unified and intuitive platform to explore comprehensive transportation information. The global search feature consolidates data across various modes of transport, streamlining the user journey and ensuring quick and precise results. Through thoughtful design elements, such as predictive search suggestions and real-time updates, the Global Search Experience is poised to elevate the overall user experience, offering a seamless and comprehensive solution for navigating the complexities of transportation services.
I’ve developed three design concepts, each equipped with distinct features, and they are now poised for internal and external testing. These prototypes encompass a variety of features to cater to different user preferences. The intention is to conduct thorough testing, both internally and externally, with the goal of identifying and incorporating the most preferred features based on user feedback. This iterative process ensures that the final design not only meets user expectations but is also tailored to their preferences, optimizing the overall user experience on the PTV platform.
Creating prototypes is a dynamic process, and at times, the intricate web of interactions can become complex. The example below illustrates the intricate network of interactions within a prototype. This complexity is a natural part of the iterative design process, reflecting the various pathways and user journeys that are considered and tested. Despite the apparent intricacy, each interaction is purposefully crafted and evaluated to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience in the final design.
Collaboratively, we conducted interviews, diligently took notes, and synthesized the findings to generate valuable insights from user tests. With these insights in hand, I embarked on the next phase of the process—applying the suggestions derived from the user feedback. This iterative approach ensures that user input is not only gathered but actively informs the refinement and enhancement of the design, fostering a continuous improvement cycle based on real user experiences and preferences.
In addition to user testing, my team and I consolidated prior research and existing knowledge. I conducted an in-depth competitive analysis to gain insights into industry trends and best practices. Furthermore, I delved into the data of user interactions to extract meaningful patterns and behaviors. This comprehensive approach, combining user insights with research and data analysis, enriched our understanding and equipped us with a holistic perspective for making informed design decisions.
